An elementary introduction to Siegel modular forms
Survey, 12 pages, September 2004.
A short survey, from an elementary point of view, of the basic definitions and properties of Siegel modular forms, written as supporting material for a seminar talk at UIUC. I would now recommend the much more comprehensive treatment given by Gerard van der Geer in his chapter in The 1-2-3 of modular forms. He does a great job of describing a multitude of approaches to Siegel modular forms.
